The average turnaround time is 1-2 business days for a report. For an additional charge GeoEstimator offers a rush processing service that has a typical turnaround time of 1 business day or less.
GeoEstimator offers two options for the turnaround time on your requested order.
- Standard - You will receive your report within two business days from the time payment was received or sooner if possible.
- Rush Processing - You will receive your report within one business day. This service is an additional charge per order.
After making these selections, confirm your structure selection by clicking the box under the image.
Finally, confirm you have read our terms and conditions.
You may also add job numbers, reference information or a claim number to be placed onto each page of the final report.
GeoEstimator uses state of the art satellite and aerial imagery to create accurate and detailed roof take-off measurements. Using these figures our staff is able to create drawings with accurate calculations of roof area, lineal feet of ridge, valley, perimeter and step flashing.

Yes. There is no additional charge to load our software on as many computers as you need.

GeoEstimator will fully refund the entire purchase price.
GeoEstimator will allow you to withdraw the balance of your account at any time. Please note that within one year from the date of purchase the remaining amount will be recalculated and refunded according to your actual usage and the corresponding discount level.
Order Questions
A roof measurement order can be placed with GeoEstimator in three simple steps:
- Once you have found the address, click confirm my selection
- Complete the "Required for Processing" page
- Fund your order using one of our payment methods.
We have several sources of imagery from Satellite and Aerial image providers. The availability of imagery is constantly improving in coverage and quality. Once your order is submitted we will go to work to find it, if the image can't be located you will receive an email notification with in (1) one hour after receiving payment if no images are available (during business hrs.). If it can't be completed we will issue a complete refund.
We request our clients to approximate the number of sloped, pitched areas on the requested structure [planes]. If your estimate is under or over, we will electronically invoice or refund respectively.
Furthermore, you will choose the priority of this request through selecting either "standard" or "rush" processing.

- Enter an address in the search boxes, click find address.
- Drag the marker over the structure.
Google Maps allows you to pinpoint exactly which structure you want measured. This verification step ensures we are drawing the actual structure you are requesting.
You have two options for resolving this:
- If available, enter the latitude and longitude in decimal degrees (38.897102, -77.036698) in the search box and locate from there.
- Choose the "I can't find it" button and for an additional charge per order GeoEstimator will go to work locating the structure for you. In the event we are unable to locate the structure you will receive a full refund for the entire purchase amount.
Due to the nature of available imagery, the image we display may or may not have the structure present. GeoEstimator has partnered with multiple imagery providers to ensure the greatest possible coverage.
In order to correctly locate the proper structure, we convert the street address into latitude/longitude coordinates that can be pinpointed on our imagery maps. This allows us to get the correct structure.
There are times when the coordinates don't accurately locate the structure. That is why we created the process for you to help us locate it by moving the marker over the correct structure.
For an additional charge per order GeoEstimator offers a service where we find it for you.
While GeoEstimator is extremely confident in the overall accuracy of all reports released to customers, we allow you total control of your drawing. With our proprietary software, you can input exact pitch values and field verify a reference dimension to ensure total accuracy of your report.
GeoEstimator utilizes multiple imagery providers equating to better national and international coverage. Some images are aerial and others are taken by satellites. GeoEstimator uses the highest quality image available to ensure the most accurate drawing.

Account Questions
Before you can place an order, you must create an account with GeoEstimator. This process is quick, easy and free! Creating an account does not sign you up for a subscription to our service nor does it require you provide a credit card number. Simply click the "Create an Account" tab, enter the required information and click the link that is emailed for verification.

When your order has been successfully processed, you will receive an email notification your order is ready.
Troubleshooting
GeoEstimator.com is currently optimized for Internet Explorer 7, as well as Firefox 3.0 and higher.
You can obtain a new password by clicking the "Forgot Password" link. You will then be asked to insert your User Name or Email address. Once you have successfully submitted this information, you will then be sent a "Verification Request" email which you must click the hyperlink to active your account.
An e-mail will be sent for every report you order. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, there are a couple of things you can do.
- Sign into the Customer Login screen and verify your e-mail address is correct
- Check your order history to confirm that your order was placed. If not, you must place the order again.
You will know that your order has been successfully placed when you get a report number on the confirmation screen. If the problem persists please contact Geoestimator Customer Service at (888) 644-2393.
The imagery available can vary in quality and zoom level from city to city. Sometimes images are available but not at the default zoom level. On the map, you may see the message, "We are sorry, but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region." If you see this message, simply zoom out until images appear. This can be done using either the +/- slider on the left of the map or by using the scroll wheel on your mouse.
Once an image appears, place the marker on the building (or as close as possible) that needs to be measured. GeoEstimator has access to imagery that is not available to the mapping control provided on the find an address page of our website.
In the event that you are not able to accurately identify the proper building using the map on the find an address page, a Customer Service Representative will contact you with in one business hour in order to notify you if we can't do the drawing.
You will automatically receive an email notification informing you that your order is complete. Once complete simply click the "Get All New Orders" button inside of our software [located on your desktop], provide your username and password and all completed orders will automatically be downloaded to your computer. Once you have successfully downloaded your files, click on "Open File" to access the requested file.

We have two options for accessing your completed report. To use the software without the requirement of internet access you will need to download the software as mentioned previously. In the event you would like to be able to access your completed report via your web browser you can take advantage of our web-based solution.
